General Terms and Conditions for Private Consumers (AVP)
1. General
These terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer, place an order via Hedin Parts’ e‑commerce platform or submit an order by telephone, email, or other means of contact. To shop in our e‑commerce store, you must be of legal age and place the order in your own name.
2. User Credentials
Customer numbers, user IDs, and passwords must be stored in a manner that prevents unauthorized use. If there is any suspicion that user credentials have been compromised, the Customer must immediately ensure that the relevant login details are changed. User credentials are personal.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in SEK or EUR. In certain markets, prices may be presented in the local currency. Prices include VAT (except for Norway, where VAT and customs duties are invoiced by the carrier; the customs clearance fee “disbursement fee” is charged if the buyer is not registered in VOEC and does not have their own customs credit).
Hedin Parts reserves the right to correct any incorrect prices and to cancel or withdraw from a purchase in the event of an obviously incorrect price.
All goods remain the property of Hedin Parts until full payment has been received from the Customer.
4. Product information
Hedin Parts reserves the right for any typographical errors, errors in supplier information and specifications, publications, translations, and published web information. Published images are for illustrative purposes only and cannot be guaranteed to accurately reflect the product’s exact appearance or condition.
5. Payment
Shopping on Hedin Parts’ e‑commerce platform is secure and easy. Payment is processed via Kustom Checkout, which offers multiple payment options and a secure payment solution.
6. Delivery Time
The normal delivery time is 3–5 business days if the item is in stock and no other information is provided at the time of ordering. Exceptions may occur; in such cases, the customer will be contacted. Hedin Parts cannot be held responsible for delivering products that are out of stock or discontinued.
Home delivery normally takes 1–2 days depending on your location and the shipping method used.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs apply to all orders and are paid by the customer according to the rates shown at checkout. Certain products are excluded, such as bulky items.
Available delivery options and applicable prices are displayed in the checkout.
8. Delivery Inspection
The shipment must be inspected by the customer upon receipt, and any damage or remarks must be reported directly to the carrier at the time of delivery. The customer is responsible for checking that the product is correct and in proper condition before installation.
9. Uncollected Parcels
Your parcel will remain at the pickup point in accordance with the carrier’s terms and will then be returned to Hedin Parts. If a parcel is returned due to non-collection, a fee of SEK 250 will be charged for shipping, administration, and return handling. The remaining amount will be refunded to the customer.
10. Delayed Delivery
Delayed or missing deliveries must be reported to Hedin Parts within 10 business days from the order date, unless a different delivery time was communicated at the time of ordering.
11. Warranty
We provide up to 3‑year warranty on our products, excluding promotional items, consumables, service parts, and wear parts. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, material defects, or design defects. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, external damage, incorrect installation, improper use, or mishandling.
If you experience issues with a product, please contact us. The receipt for the purchased item serves as proof of warranty. Therefore, always retain the receipt throughout the warranty period. Hedin Parts is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer in connection with a defective product.
12. Right of Withdrawal
Hedin Parts applies the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. This means that you, as a customer, have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason. The right of withdrawal does not apply to special orders where we have ordered an item specifically for you that we do not normally stock. Customers are always informed if an order is a special order.
You may inspect the product, but it must be returned in unchanged condition and in its original packaging. Hedin Parts reserves the right to charge the customer if any items are missing, such as instruction manuals.
13. Complaints
Complaints regarding defective, incomplete, or incorrect deliveries, or other errors caused by Hedin Parts, must be made as soon as possible and no later than 10 business days from the delivery date. Returned goods must be sent back within 15 days after the complaint is registered.
Complaints are primarily resolved by replacement with a new or equivalent item. If a returned item, after inspection, is found to be correct and fully functional, the product will be returned to the customer and a shipping and inspection fee will apply. The customer has a statutory right to complain for 3 years under Swedish law.
Products not accepted for return:
• Non-stocked and special-order products.
Hedin Parts applies the Swedish Consumer Sales Act when handling complaints. We therefore undertake to replace defective or damaged products at no additional cost. Do not collect parcels with visible damage that may have affected the condition of the ordered goods. In such cases, file a complaint with the carrier directly at the pickup point and ask them to return the parcel to Hedin Parts, stating the reason for return on the package. Then email customer.support.nordic@hedinparts.com to inform us of the complaint.
14. How to Return Items
To make a complaint or return a delivery, complete the return Items form form and send it to us. Once we have approved your return or complaint, you will be notified by email. You will then receive a return shipping label to use when returning your item. We only accept returns using this return service. Return shipping costs will be charged to the customer and deducted at the time of the refund.
The product must be returned in the same carton it was delivered in and in the same condition as received.
For damaged or soiled goods or packaging, a handling fee will be charged.
15. Personal Data
When placing an order with us, you provide personal data. By doing so, you consent to us storing and using your data within our operations in order to fulfill the agreement with you and to comply with applicable accounting or consumer protection legislation.

16. Konsumentköplagen
Hedin Parts complies with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (1990:932). If any of these terms conflict with the Consumer Sales Act or other Swedish legislation, the latter shall prevail.
