The importance of using the right oil
Motor oil is the lifeblood of a car’s engine, providing essential protection and longevity for all the moving parts. Driving with low oil levels, or even the wrong grade will affect your engine’s performance, efficiency and ultimately durability. As turbochargers spin at well over 100,000 revs per minute, using the right grade of oil to maintain lubrication is an absolute must. The consequential damage being far greater than any potential saving in using an alternative grade of oil.

To keep your engine lubricated and protected, Saab did specify oil grades for different models, which are still available today, engineered and blended to the exact Original grade.
